Ayurveda looks at the whole being, including the body, mind, and spirit. An Ayurvedic practitioner determines your unique constitution, and develops a treatment plan designed to heal the root cause of imbalance in your body, whether that be in the mind, the physical body, the etheric or astral body. You will learn how to recognize whether a being is primarily of a vata constitution (air and ether), pitta (fire and water), or kapha constitution (water and earth), or a combination of the doshas, and which of the elements or doshas are out of balance.

You will learn how to return harmony to the body and mind by balancing the elements within the doshas through daily breathing practices, yoga poses, foods, herbs, and lifestyle practices to balance your client in all situations and all seasons. It is clear that not every food is medicinal for all, not every yoga posture suits every person, not every health routine is a “one size fits all”. With the wisdom of Ayurveda, you can clearly determine the best way to nourish and vitalize your client by personalizing dietary choices, yoga and lifestyle routines.

In this course we will discuss Ayurvedic and Yoga Therapy support for Women Support for Post Partum and Menopause. Yoga Therapy for Back Pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Arthritis, Mental Ama, respiratory issues and yoga therapy as well as Digestive imbalances and Ayurveda. Asanas and Ayurvedic Yoga Poses for Pranavaha Srotas, Annavaha Srotas, Mamsa Dhatu (Digestive System, Respiratory System, Muscular System, Lymphatic System). Yoga therapy for Vata, Pitta and Kapha imbalances. Yoga for different seasons. Yoga at different times during the day.
